Greetings & welcome to my blog!
My name is Robin Cook Bondy and my professional bio goes something like this:
Robin found her niche in the areas of issues management, media relations and strategic communications early in her career.
Over the past 15 years, she has managed media, public relations and marketing communications for the BC Lottery Corporation, developed issues management strategies and enhanced customer satisfaction for Coast Capital Savings Credit Union, and implemented marketing communications initiatives for Starbucks Coffee Company.
A passionate communications consultant, Robin works with organizations to develop dynamic communication strategies, and to share their unique stories with the media.
Robin also teaches Public Relations, Strategic Communications and Promotional Strategies within the School of Business at BCIT.
Recently, I decided to upgrade my skills in the area of adult education & learning in order to become a better educator and leader.
In November 2014, I was accepted to Vancouver Community College’s School of Instructor Education. I started courses in January 2015 and plan on completing my Provincial Instructors Diploma (PID) by the end of this year.
The main purpose of this blog is that it will act as a central place for me to summarize and reflect on the learnings & concepts taught throughout the PID program.
I hope you find some useful and interesting materials posted here, and encourage you to provide me with any thoughts or comments you may have on the information I share.
Thanks for visiting!
